I recently had the opportunity to get some wonderful pictures taken by Melissa from Little Raindrops Photography. I found her through a comment she left on my blog and followed it over to her site where I figured out she had just moved to the same base that I am stationed at. I offered my help and advice about the area if she needed it and she soon added me on Facebook.

We chatted a bit through Facebook talking about military life and her photography business and then I got an idea. I asked her to take a couple headshots of me for my blog. I wanted a more recent picture and I liked her photography.

When we met up several weeks later, I was so happy to hit it off with Melissa right from the start. She is sweet and very easy to talk to! We easily spent several hours taking pictures and chatting and I loved that she knew exactly what kind of poses and places she wanted me to be in.

It was so humid and hot out so I was worried how the pictures were going to turn out. She sent them to me only a day later and I was very surprised and happy with the results. Here are my two favorites:

Melissa is very talented  and has tons of different sessions including baby showers, children, couples and adults, events, family, maternity, newborn, Op Love (for military families), teens and adults, and school yearbook photos. Here are a few more examples of some of her work:

Melissa’s Bio:

Hi, I’m Melissa with Little Raindrops Photography. I’m a blessed wife to an Air Force airman and mother to three sweet young boys. My family recently moved to Warner Robins, Georgia from Misawa, Japan and we are happy to be back in the US and in such a beautiful area!

I’ve been experimenting with photography and art at some level most of my life, thanks to my passionate amateur photographer father and talented artist mother. When my first son was born four years ago I met a good friend and amazing newborn and family photographer. She inspired me to venture into portraiture and in 2010 I opened Little Raindrops Photography.

I have really enjoyed meeting great new people and honing my skills with every session! I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and bless your family with custom photography that you love!
